Class Schedule

Class:   Barista 101 – Introduction to Espresso

Time: 2.5 Hour Class ( 6:30-9:00 p.m)

Dates:  Mon. – April 11th, Tues. –  April 12th,  Mon- April 18th,  Tues- April 19th

Cost: $15

Interested in learning how your local barista pours hearts, flowers and leafs into your coffee? Want to know what to look for in an espresso shot? Then come over to our new NY Brew Bar and Headquarters in Brooklyn to learn about everything from the make-up of an espresso shot, to proper extraction, and even a quick introduction to milk texturing. Class size is limited to ensure hands-on training, so sign up quickly!!

Class:   Barista 102 – Alternative Brew Methods

Time:  1.5 Hour Class ( 6:00-7:30p.m)

Dates:  April 11th, April 18th

Cost: $10

Don’t have an espresso machine at home? Want something more than your alarm clock coffee maker? Come learn about the growing field of alternative coffee brew methods. Taste the same bean on 7 different devices, learn how each works and try it out for yourself.  Class size is limited to ensure hands-on training, so sign up quickly!!

      We are now running classes by appointment only. If you would like to set up a class please email our head Barista Conor Welch at – conorpwelch@gmail.com to set one up. We can cater classes to fit your needs ( espresso, alternative brew, beginner vs. advanced, etc. ). Enjoy!
