Are you starting up a new food-related business in or around NYC? Come speak with us, as Crop to Cup and other partners have recently started up a co-operative working space for food-related businesses in Brooklyn. We are called MEx Food.
Greenspaces – our awesome host for the past year – upgraded to a new space in Manhattan last week (if you’re looking for desk space then check them out!), but our operations required us to stay back at their former Brooklyn space. We’ll miss Roberto, Jennie, Hobbes and many of our former neighbors, but we’re also looking forward to developing our space into a center focused on food and sustainability.
MEx Food offers commercial kitchen space for cooking, packaging, etc, plenty of antique-filled desk/office space, meeting room, event space (can accommodate dinners for up to 50 people) and a beautiful roof garden. See photos below.
Whether you’re a food-focused film or marketing company, a baker, a writer, or anything else related to the food industry, we have what you need to start up and sustain your biz or nonprofit in NYC. Rent kitchen space, desk space or both – we have all ranges for low monthly fees. Most importantly, the space offers a food biz NETWORK and incubator to keep the ideas flowing and the sales growing. Oh, and free Crop to Cup coffee all day!
We are located at 33 Flatbush Ave in Downtown Brooklyn/Ft. Greene, central to a host of subway lines, bridges and major transport routes connecting you to the rest of NYC and beyond.
